Järjestyksessään viides Mestareiden Cup starttaa tätä kirjoittaessa neljän päivän kuluttua B-poikien turnauksella. Ensimmäinen MC järjestettiin yhden ikäluokan (-92) rypistyksenä syksyllä 2005 ja siitä on kuljettu monessa mielessä pitkä matka. Nyt MC:n järjestelyt tulee aloittaa jo maalis-huhtikuussa ja elokuu on todella hektistä aikaa. Ilman huikeita vapaaehtoistyöntekijöitä – toisin sanoen turnaukseen osallistuvien TPS-joukkueiden pelaajien vanhempia ja nykyään myös vanhempia junioreita - turnausta ei tällaisenaan saisi vietyä läpi. Kiitos siis sinne, mihin kiitos kuuluu.

As I write this the fifth Mestareiden Cup is about to begin in four days with B-boys' (92- and 93-borns) tournament. The first MC was held as a one age-group tournament in the autumn of 2005 and has come a long way since then. Now, MC's arrangements will begin in the March-April, and August is a really hectic time. Without a huge amount of volunteer workers - in other words the TPS teams, parents of players and nowadays also older juniors - a tournament is not possible to arrange. So Thanks to all of you.

MC has been clearly profiled as a high class tournament from the beginning - the best teams, comprehensive web site analysis and results service, working arrangements, the friendly service and delicious food, etc. We have tried to create, especially for those young people and a little older players something a bit out of the ordinary and a bit bigger and better. Floorball culture, could someone summarize. Hopefully, we succeeded in this earlier and hopefully we can achieve this also in the future.
 
This year, the "legendary" rooms of the Salibandyareena have become less legendary because of a large degree of renovation. We are very pleased ourselves with the new facilities and we believe that all the participants will agree. One thing you still need to know: it will be hot, but for a hot tournament warm conditions will suite fine. Every year we try to bring something new to the MC, so that our guests will not have a feeling that we just
copy-paste through the job every year. This year we have completely redesigned the tournament’s website and also the booklet you are now handling is more comprehensive than before, including a more genuine and original team presentations. We hope it will be a nice memorial to look at on later years.
